I am an American College of Sports Medicine certified Personal Trainer, with extensive experience in fitness and rehabilitation, both on land and in the water. For the past fifteen years, I have worked with people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. My philosophy is that it's never too late to be in control of your own health and fitness, there is always room for improvement.
I strongly believe that a healthy lifestyle is one key to happiness and wellness, and the connection between mind and body is very important. That's why I help my clients understand that exercise keeps them healthier, more functional, not only in their athletic performance, but also in their activities of daily life. Regular exercise also helps reduce stress and facilitates sleep. I keep my sessions fun, diversified, and I always include play time!
I have been an athlete all my life, playing volleyball and beach volleyball in Europe, from my teens into my adulthood. Tennis is one of my biggest passions in life, and so are swimming, kayaking, bodysurfing, scuba diving and stand up paddling. Because of my athletic background, I understand the importance of cross-training, and how vital it is to maintain a high level of flexibility.
I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to do aquatic fitness and rehabilitation for many years. Water is an amazing soothing element where people can feel comfortable, weightless and safe. Because of all these reasons, it's ideal for rehabilitation exercises, and at the same time, it is a great tool for cardiorespiratory and strength training. I love being in the water, and I am happy to offer this option to my clients.
I am looking forward to meeting you!
